The guide outlines the steps that should be taken to assess the need for a dive team, the collection of appropriate data to develop the justification for a dive team and what to do if there is a “no” response. The guide also includes information on the need for a Mission Statement, developing a budget as well as the importance of having up-to-date Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs).
